Just a reminder to please not ride on local trails that are wet and/or muddy. This causes significant erosion to our trails because of the softer soils we have in Florida.
I get annoyed when I drive by the Rock trail and see cars and riders immediately after a day or two of heavy rain. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they do not understand the erosion they are causing. This of course applies to other areas such as San Felasco. Remember, we have a lot of lime rock roads to ride and they are typically better right after rain.
Fortunately most of our trails dry out quickly and are ok after a couple of days of dry weather.
Please pass the word to your "uninformed" riding buddies. Thanks!
