We need your help!

Members of the Gainesville Cycling Club will join the Archer 4H Trailblazers with the support of the City of Archer in a clean-up of wooded mile at the western end of Archer Braid Trail this Saturday, February 22nd, from 1pm to 5pm. Many hands are needed to remove thick stands of invasive species and trash from old dump sites. Show your appreciation for the trail by spending a few hours helping to keep it an enjoyable asset to our community.

The clean-up begins at 1pm at the trailhead below the Archer water tower. Dress appropriately for working in wooded areas. Please bring work gloves, a 5 gallon bucket and any tools you may have, such as litter grabbers, hand trowels, loppers, shovels, rakes, carts or wheelbarrows. If you have a bike cart, this is a great day to show it off and put it to use! Water and Gatorade will be provided to refill your water bottles.

You can find all of the event details here. Please RSVP on Facebook or by email so we know how many people to expect. The weather should be good.  Rain chance is just 50% all day on Saturday.  The cleanup will go on, rain or shine.

See on you the trail!
