Greetings,

A week ago (last Thursday) I was riding my bike on campus on my way to class.I made a left on museum road into center drive. As I was getting into Center a skateboarder suddenly  decided to cross the street (outside of the crosswalk) and I could not avoid hitting him. I fell down and hit my knee and ankle pretty bad (no fractures) the skateboarder did not get hurt.  I got somebody to call the cops as I wanted to document the incident, however he did not ticket the skateboarder and I was in too much pain to make the point that he should have (skateboards are illegal outside the crosswalk).

I do not want to make money out of this guy, I just don't want to be spending money, that I don't have, on top of all the inconveniences associated with the accident. Even more as the Sports Medicine Dr in UF said that he suspects I have damaged my meniscus, I will get an MRI on Saturday.

I am reaching out to GCC in search of advice on how to go about it as it could be a more serious issue than a twisted ankle and a road rash.

Thanks,

Antonio
