Hello fellow bike club members this is Richard Colbert a long time member. I want to caution everybody about riding on wet boardwalks. Friday when commuting home I already road successfully on the boardwalk behind Loblolly riding very cautious, then I continued to the long boardwalk from 8th ave. when my wheel slipped out, I was riding slowly but it was as slippery as anything that could be considered slippery. So please do not ride on the wet boardwalks, until they have been treated for the agley

If you haven't already, please consider sending today (Monday, July 23) an email to FDOT supporting the proposal to replace on-street parking with buffered bike lanes on West Newberry Road between 38th and 43rd Streets. By including bike lanes in this segment, it will close an existing gap in on-street bike lanes and improve connectivity.

You can see what the proposed changes would look like at:  http://nflroads.com/sr26.  Please send a brief email to FDOT project manager at xxxxxx@dot.state.fl.us.  Your comments will be included in the official record and will be submitted to city and county commissioners meeting as the MTPO.
