The Gainesville Cycling Club continues to make news, this time with our leading participation in the Bike League National Mileage Challenge!

Ally Gill and myself were interviewed by the Gainesville Sun regarding the challenge, see the article here - http://www.gainesville.com/article/20130630/ARTICLES/130639986/1183?Title=Local-cycling-club-leads-nationwide-bike-challenge

Please remember to continue logging miles, that is the MOST important thing you can do.  If you haven't signed up, please consider doing so.

Number one team in the nation - Gainesville Cycling Club.

Two riders in the Top 20 nationally.

Five riders in the Top 100 nationally.

12 riders in the Top 500 nationally.

Miles / Kms clocked since June 30 (at 09:15pm EST) - 122,595 Miles / 196,152 Kilometres.

Most miles racked up in one day - 4,502.5 (Monday, June 1, 2013).

Thank you to everyone who is participating. We need everyone to contribute, no matter how long or short your rides / commutes are.  This challenge is far from over!

Finally, prizes CAN be won by participating.  One of our team members, Arnold Betancourt won himself some lights from the May drawing. You have to be in it to win it!

If you have any questions, please contact me directly.
