Clint thank you for bringing this up. There is a legal U-Turn and turn lane at NW 115th St.

It is very important for all of us to spread the word on this to all of our riding friends that may use the trails. There are many trail users that are not on our email lists, so we are depending on each other to help spread the word to get people to travel west to 115th to make the legal U-Turn and then back tracking east to the trails.

I want to thank all of the GCC members that came out to the Swift Summer Mountain Bike Series last night. We had 98 participants and several members participated, and many came out to watch including the GCC President, Jayson O'Mahoney. I also want to thank Super Cool Bike Shop, Gator Cycle and Bike Works for their willingness to help support cycling in Gainesville.

For everyone who drives to the Rock Trail, whether an event or general riding, we are asking that you not make a left hand turn into the trail. If you are coming from the east please continue past the trail and make a legal U-Turn when safe so that you can make a right hand turn into the trail.

Due to the hill before the left turn we've had several accidents because of drivers making a left into the trail. This is very important as we do not want to jeopardize our use of these trails.

Please help us spread the word. Thanks for understanding.
