Subject: GCCMail: National Bike Challenge - Week 5 Statistics

No. 1 Team in the Nation on points - Gainesville Cycling Club

186 cyclists on our team - another 14 riders required to crack 200, let's go people!

One rider in the Top 10 nationally.

Two riders in the Top 20 nationally (the top two riders both cracked over 1,400 miles for the month of May).  Both of them are gainfully employed working 40 hours per week!

Four riders in the Top 100 nationally.

13 riders in the Top 500 nationally.

24 riders in the Top 1,000 nationally.

Miles / Kms clocked since June 6 (at 10:34am EST) - 73,493 Miles / 117,589 Kilometres.

Most miles racked up in one day - 3,900 (Saturday, May 11, 2013).

Thank you to everyone who is participating.  However, we are no longer enjoying a more than double points lead over the 2nd place team.  Everyone needs to contribute, no matter how long or short your rides / commutes are.  This challenge is far from over!

900+ people are receiving this email, please consider joining GCC's team for the mileage challenge; this is bigger than Gainesville...

Let's keep Gainesville's community of cyclists #1 all the way to September 30 and beyond!

If you have any questions, please contact me directly.

Regards,

Jayson

GCC President / Team Captain for the National Bike League Challenge
