Friends,

Alachua County Emerging Leaders presents Bikes de Mayo, an evening of live music, food, and drink specials on Sunday night, May 26th, downtown at the High Dive, starting at 6 p.m.  The High Dive is located at 210 SW 2nd Avenue, across the street from The Jones-B Side,  where Gainesville's recent Food Truck Rallies have been held.

We all know how heinous it is to park downtown, so riding your bike to the event is encouraged!  You can enter those miles as "cycling-transport" on your National Bike Challenge log while your at it.  BONUS!

Proceeds from this event go to support cycle commuters by providing bicycle pumps for public use in addition to new bike racks that will soon be installed at various downtown locations.

Come on out for an evening of fun, and help support cycle commuting at the same time.

Tickets are $10 per person, if you purchase in advance, $15 at the door.

Details can be found on the ACEL's Event page on Facebook:
Hope to see you there!
