A group of 12 riders and 2 Tour Leaders from Adventure Cycling Association on their Southern Tier Transcontinental Bike Route, will be arriving Saturday afternoon in Gainesville, after being on their bikes for the past 63 days from San Diego.  We are one of their last stops before St. Augustine where they plan to dip their wheels in the Atlantic Ocean, Monday afternoon.

Due to this weekends Graduation at U. F., and the scarcity of camping spots elsewhere, we've been able, thanks to Meegan Wilson, to put them at the 300 Club, located at 3715 N. W. 12th Avenue.  If you are interested in meeting and talking to them Saturday, please contact me for particulars.

If you are interested in riding out with them on Sunday morning I will be posting a Saddle Tramp ride from the 300 Club to guide them to the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail.  According to their Leader, Mitch, their riders travel between 8 and 17 miles per hour, and will be riding to Palatka, where they will spend Sunday night.
