To everyone who signed up for a helmet mirror at the Annual Meeting on March 9th, to all those who emailed me since Roger put the notice up in our E-news feature, and anyone else interested in purchasing a mirror, please take note.
Roger has set things up so that you can purchase a mirror using Paypal, or you can send him a check. You can purchase more than one mirror at this time if you'd like. He needs to have the money in hand by May 6th, so that we can make the order.
Diane Lees at Hubbub is committed to giving us a product that we can be proud of by putting our logo on the leading side.
We must have an order of 70 mirrors. Roger needs each of us to come up with the money so that if people decide not to pay up later, the club is not left holding the bag.
The response has been stellar so far, with 50 people who have committed either at the Annual Meeting or by email to me recently, to purchasing mirrors, .
Now is the time to follow through with the cold hard cash so that we are able to end up a product that we want.
As you bike riders know, there are few precautions we can take to insure our safety on the roads. A helmet mirror is one of those things that can give each of us a sense of having gone the extra mile to protect ourselves. Think about it and join the other 50 in paying for this valuable piece of safety equipment.
