2013 Rouge Roubaix (http://www.rougeroubaix.com), St. Francisville, Louisiana. As seen from the camera of Jayson O'Mahoney (GCC President), Masters 40+ race - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeErUY2dJPA

Fellow GCC'ers who raced with me or in different categories include Ride Captain (Ed Dunne), former Board Member (Scott Pfaff), former VP (Kerry Duggan aka K-Dogg) and up and comer, Justin Pfaff.

Not an event for the timid or those who despise chip seal or terribly rough gravel roads - on road bikes... even the Gran Fondo will hurt you.

Rouge Roubaix - A classic 105 mile road race that covers the good, the bad, and the ugly of the Feliciana's. The race starts in St. Francisville, LA and travels north and west through the back roads of West Feliciana Parish and Wilkinson County, Mississippi. Racers encounter a constantly rolling terrain, with several non-paved climbs that will test everybody. The road surfaces vary greatly from chip and seal, sandy gravel, smooth as glass asphalt, and roads that are just plain bad.
