I realize this e-mail list is mainly comprised of cyclists, but I know many of you are also runners.

I am working in collaboration with the Gainesville Sports Commission and the Five Points of Life along with my research team, which includes Dr. Heather Gibson, Morgan Weinberg, and myself from the Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management at UF. 

We are conducting a study on running participation in Gainesville and would like to ask for your help.  The purpose of the study is to understand involvement in running and how runners decide to participate in running events.  The results of the study will help improve our knowledge about running and provide insights for those planning local endurance sport events.
