Here are several family oriented ideas for the Oleno Picnic:

Paved Bike Trail:  There is a paved bike trail that starts at Oleno and goes west to Fort White, about nine miles and goes by an excellent Thrift Store.  The trail continues to the Itchetucknee, and to the Suwannee River in Branford

Hiking Trails:  There are several hiking trails at Oleno. 

Bellamy Trail:  The First Federal Highway in Florida, built in 1826, goes right through the park, in it's original condition.  It is bikeable with a hybrid or mountain bike.

San Felasco:  Ride the trails at San Felasco, then drive 20 miles north to Oleno and join us for the picnic at noon.

Museum:  There is a small museum that tells the history of the Park and of the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) that built the park ing the 1930's.
