Greetings one and all,

I write to let you know that the GCC will hold another workshop, "Advanced Street Cycling", next Wednesday, 11 October 2017 at the Freewheel Project. More details follow below.

Let me know if you have any questions. No need to register or bring a bike, as this will be an in-class workshop.

Advanced Street Cycling Workshop

Are you ready to take the next steps in riding your bike in the street?

The Gainesville Cycling Club (gccfla.org) announces an “Advanced Street Cycling” workshop to help you broaden your cycling horizons.

The workshop is free and open to all teens and adults who are interested in cycling more.

We will meet at the Freewheel Project, 618 South Main St. in downtown Gainesville, on Wednesday 11 October 2017 from 6-8 PM.

Like “Basic Street Cycling”, the “Advanced” workshop will be a classroom event that will feature dialogue in a safe space about best practices for street cycling in urban areas.

We will go beyond the “Basic” workshop by taking on difficult issues such as taking the lane, motorist hostility, road obstacles, and others.

Come one, come all!
