If you are planning on riding with us Sunday, please read below for some updated information. Essential ride details are posted in the GCC schedule as well as on the gainesvillecycling.com calendar.
Rider sign-in: We will now open for sign-in at 7:45am to accommodate an expected large number of riders. Especially if your body clock is still slightly on daylight savings time, consider showing early to take the last minute sign-in pressure off our small staff of volunteers so that we may rollout on time at 8:30.
Maps: Routes were updated & finalized on Monday 5 November (my subconscious drove me to incorrectly include one sector of limerock!) so if you downloaded a file prior to that day please revisit the map pages.
Shop support: Bike Works will be open from 8am through rollout for last minute purchase of ride supplies (bars/gels/tubes etc.) However, please do not show up asking for repairs/adjustments prior to rollout.
Forecast: Weather is looking quite favorable with temps in the upper 50s-low 60s at start time and an afternoon high in the upper 70s under partly cloudy skies. Compared to a windy 40 degrees at start time last year, this should be a comfortable day on the road.
Prize support: Bike Works, Alligator Island Optical and Talking Walls II, and Canopy Crafts
Logistical and promotional support: Ed Gardener, Jayson O' Mahoney, David Bello, Roger Pierce, and Gary Knowland.
