Please bring family, friends and new bike riders to the picnic at Hart Springs on Monday, May 29.  There will be good food and bike riding for all skill levels.

FOOD:  GCC will provide all the fixings to make tacos, burritos, taco salad and any other creative delights.  You will have taco meat, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, onion, grated cheese, jalapenos, salsa, sour cream, taco shells, wraps and corn chips.

Attendees are asked to bring a salad or desert to round out the feast.

RIDES:  Ride groups may want to organize rieds in the Gilchrist County area, which is very flat.  A paved bike trail, the Nature Coast Trail, is near-by, and there are wide bike lanes that go from Hart Springs to the Trail.  The most interesting feature on the Trail is the bridge over the Suwannee River, an old railroad bridge.  One idea for families would be to park at at the Fannin Springs Trailhead (across from Fannin Springs State Park, on US 19.)  and ride to the bridge, about 2 to 3 miles.

Please RSVP on the GCC website, so we know how much food to prepare.

Directions to Hart Springs are on the GCC website.
