Greetings fellow cycling enthusiasts, 
 
Consider your answers (true or false) to the following statements:
 
1. According to Florida law, bikes are not vehicles.
 
2. Wider lanes are safer for traffic.
 
3. The most common car-bike collisions are head-on.
 
4. Riding a bike on a sidewalk is safer than using a bike lane.
 
5. Cyclists are not required by law to obey traffic signs.
 
The correct answer to each statement is FALSE. 
 
If you answered TRUE to any of the statements, you would benefit from the upcoming GCC bike education events, "Basics of Street Cycling".
