Please note that the long-awaited official public opening of Little Orange Creek Preserve and Nature Park (just outside of downtown Hawthorne on SR 20) will take place on Saturday, Jan. 21st.

Little Orange Creek Preserve and Nature Park is a true gem, one of our area's most beautiful and diverse conservation areas (can you say rare orchids?), and it holds a lot of promise as a bike-friendly event/camping/touring venue.  You really should check it out!

This would be a great destination for a Saturday GCC group ride.  Festivities will take place from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
