The Gainesville Time Trial returns initially for a one-time appearance on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016.
Most people are probably not going to take the time trial too
seriously, so we hope to encourage riders of all abilities to come on
out and have fun. The time trial course is located in Brooker, Florida
and measures about 14.8 kilometres / 9.2 miles.
However, we'll
be meeting at Desoto Park in Hague at 8:30am and rolling at about
8:45am. If you've ridden the Santa Fe Century, it is the location of the
final rest stop. It is likely some folks will meet at the Chevron gas station at the
corner of NW 43rd Street and Millhopper Road at 8am and ride to the
meeting point together. Something to think about...

CATEGORIES:
Aero - Bring your full TT bike setup, skin suits, etc.
Merckx - Road bike only, no aero bars, no aero clothing, no wheels with
rims greater than 30mm in depth. Anything more disrespects Eddy.
Super Merckx - Vintage road bike only, toe strap pedals, friction
downtube shifters, exposed brake cables. Just as Eddy raced with.
Single Speed - Monocoggers welcomed.
Gravel Bike - Gravel or CX bike but YOU MUST run gravel tyres... aero
goodies are allowed in this category, except aero bars. Giddy up.
Remember, this a fun and free time trial. Obey the rules of the road,
be respectful to the few motorists who may appear along the course.
