With the Festival only three weeks away, it’s time to start signing up for volunteer positions! Since we have two rides, most folks who work one day get to ride the other, and as a volunteer, most likely for free.
We have several important openings that we should fill right now as they have work to do before the event:
Course Supervisors (both days): Responsible for the course. Directs the operations of the SAG drivers, and ensures road conditions are OK (sweep sandy corners, etc.)
Supply Tub Manager: Inventories the supply tubs used at the aid stops and ensures they are properly stocked. Checks the tubs returning on Saturday before sending them back out for Sunday.
Painting Crew: Drives Chandler around while he paints arrows on the roads.
Truck Director: manages the renting of the trucks, who picks them up, who drops them off.
