Hello, GCC members.

Gainesville Citizens for Active Transportation (GCAT) and Women for Wise Growth invite you to attend a joint candidate forum on Wednesday, July 20th, at 7 PM at the downtown Library Headquarters, 401 E. Univ. Ave., in Meeting Room A. The forum will include all Alachua County Commission candidates running on the August 30 primary ballot. 

This forum offers you the opportunity to hear directly from each candidate on issues related to active transportation. There are four County Commission candidates running in two closed Democratic primary contests in the August 30 election: Robert "Hutch" Hutchinson and Larry McDaniel for District 3, and Mike Byerly and Kevin Thorpe for District 1. There are no other party primary races for county commission on the August 30 ballot.
