I have a 26" mountain bike rear wheel for sale that I used on a stationary trainer. The rim is a Mavic 717 and the hub is an XT. It comes with a fairly new 9 speed cassette and a Specialized Fatboy (slick) tire. The wheel was built by Colorado Cyclist. It's in great shape with the exception of a few dings from running tire pressure too low (a tubeless experiment). I used the wheel on trails with these dings with no issues.

Knobbies get destroyed on stationary trainers so the wheel is perfect for not having to change your tire every time you workout on a trainer. It'll also work on the trail.
