Jim/Meegan: I just wanted to let you all know what a wonderful Brevet series this season was.  The both of you deserve huge medals for all the work that you put in on the season.

 

I overheard a number of comments from the riders on Sat/Sunday about how beautiful the route was, and it was.  Light traffic, great scenery, good pavement, very few pot holesJ  What else can you say.

 

For those of you that have never volunteered nor put on an event; you cannot realize just how much work something like this undertaking is.  It is huge (oh I’ve said that before, but I’ll say it again; HUGE) undertaking.  Jim and Meegan did most of the work with just a little help from others.  The GCC increased their reputation in the cycling community, with the great administration in this very challenging event.
