Please
join the 'Tween Bees for a ride on the North End of the Santa Fe Century
this Sunday, April 17. Meet at 8:00 for an 8:15 start, and bring
plenty of food and water. The ride is approximately 47 miles with two
convenience stops.
Directions to meeting site: Take I-75 north from
Gainesville to Exit 404, where you'll find a Florida Welcome Center and
Exxon Service Station immediately as you exit the Interstate onto C.R. 236.
Park at the northeast end of the parking lot - just look for the
other cyclists and their cars if you are unsure where to park.
The 'Tween Bees welcome Bee riders of all levels. However, this is
a scenic ride with lots of spring wildflowers, and both leaders
intend to enjoy it at a pace of 13-16 mph. If you wish to
ride faster or need to return earlier, you are still welcome to join us --
just be cautioned that you will be leading yourself! We will provide
you a map :-)
All GCC safety protocols apply to this
ride. Helmets required; mirrors recommended; complaints
prohibited.
Email
myself (carriestilwell@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) or Lena Crabtree (Lena1964@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) with questions! Friday evening
or day of ride questions, call 275-2999.
Look forward to seeing you!
Carrie and Lena
