On Sunday, Sept. 25, we will meet in downtown
Micanopy for a ride of about 40 miles. Meeting time is 8am, for an 8:15am
departure. Speed will be about 16 mph.
This will be the "exotic animal" ride, going
south
on 234/329 into Marion County, then west on 320 and 346 with a rest stop in
Archer. On the way back, we will take the detour down to 193rd Street with
a
stop at the farm with zebras, antelope, etc. On 346, we will pass the
Whitehurst
farm and, if we are lucky, will see water buffalo and/or
bison.
This ride will be a few miles shorter than the
High
Bee ride that is starting in Rochelle. The High Bee ride will pass through
Evinston and also go west on 320, but will come back towards Micanopy on
Wacahoota Road before returning on 234 (Angle Road) to
Rochelle.
On Saturday, Sept 24, the Lo Bees will meet at
the
Chevron Station at 8am for an 8:15am departure.
