I am planning on a ride in the NE, starting at De Soto Park in Hague for about 36 miles, leaving the park promptly at 9am, at an average speed of 16 mph, slower up hills and faster down.  I have never lead a ride and I am new to the club, the route will deviate slightly from the Monteocha Brooker route, taking a left on CR231 to Brooker.   No one will be left behind, we will designate someone as the sweeper, please bring a copy of the Monteocha Brooker map, I will gladly volunteer as the sweeper for this ride if necessary.    Depending on the weather, I am planning on riding almost every day this week, some will start from the Chevron station, so stay tuned and  ready.   Please email me if you plan on riding with me so I will look out for you at the park, I drive a gold Grand Cherokee without bike rack.    Happy New Year!   - Steven W.
