My goodness, I'm almost 1,500 miles away from
Gainesville, but I have been following this thread with great
sadness. The lack of respect is appalling.
First, I know of several people that ride with the
Critical Mass rides, and yes in some areas of the country they
completely
take over the roads and I do think they cause more harm than good. In
G'ville I think CR's are more of a reason for bikers to get together late
in the
day and go drink beer. As long as they don't drink and ride, let them
have
their fun.
I do a lot of riding with both the A riders as
well as
the Gliders. Both groups on a regular basis do ride in double pace
lines. So I would say that the GCC does tacitly approve of double
pace
lines.
May I suggest that we end this thread and go out
on the
roads and enjoy each others company.
Fair winds and following seas to all of you from
