For all club members, to change the topic for a moment....I have a question for you...do you know anyone who has a recumbent for sale or who would be willing to allow a woman friend of mine to try one out? she is looking to buy a used recumbent and I advised her to try before she buys, so that she knows she will be comfortable. 
She has apparently not been able to find any at the local bike shops.

We would be infuriated if car drivers practiced NASCAR tactics on a public road.
 
I have always thought of cyclists as self-reliant, well-prepared people who are willing to put up with a certain amount of hardship (generally weather, bad roads, flat tires).
 
Let's not reflect the current political climate of narcissistic, self-righteous indignation. (Me, Me, Me)
 
Let's be good ambassadors for our sport. It wins us political points for the future.
