The Saddle Tramps ride Wednesday,  June 29th, from the Kangaroo Station on 34th @ Williston Road on the River Styx Ride (see Maps on GCC website) down Willston to Wacahoota Road, Hwy 441 on to C.R. 346 crossing the River Styx, up to C.R. 325 and onto the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail, then back to Williston Road and the start--about 36 miles.  Park on the 34th Street side of the Publix parking lot.  Meet there at 7:15 a.m. for a 7:30 a.m. departure. 

Bring lots of liquids.  There is an early place to stop @ the Pearl Station as we pass through Micanopy on 441.  The River Styx had very little water when we did this ride three weeks ago.  However, the water birds were in the dozens, so bring binoculars if you want.  We may forage for "hog plums" on the return trip in order to make a rare and delicious jelly.
