An Open Letter to the Gainesville Cycling Club

Greetings cyclists, one and all!  On behalf of the Bike Route, I would like to take a moment to say a heartfelt “THANK YOU” for your support and patronage during the road construction project that’s surrounded our shop for nearly a year to date.

Since the project to widen 26A began, the city, county and DOT have made it, let’s say, “challenging,” to get in and out of Westgate Regency plaza.  It’s become an effort to get to our shop, let alone leave, especially if the off-duty police officers aren’t directing traffic.  We know, because we have to deal with it on a daily basis.

It’s been over two years since the shop has been under new management.  We believe we’ve come a long way in turning things around, in spite of many obstacles along the way.  We also realize that our success has come in no small part thanks to your support.

If you already shop here, we hope you realize how much we appreciate your business.  If you don’t shop with us—for whatever reason—we invite you to come take a look around and give us another try.  We have tons of great product, a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the most experienced service department in town.

We know you have a lot of choices for your cycling needs.  There are many brick-and-mortar shops in town…to say nothing of online and mail-order sources.  We can’t thank you all enough for putting up with the construction, and making the effort to shop with us.  God bless you all for doing so.
