A reminder that next Saturday, the 23rd, there will be a cleanup for the new asphalt trails in Columbia County. See the GCC e-mails about the cleanup. These are potentially nice new trails, but sand and glass on some sections makes them much less attractive.

On Sunday, Sept. 24th, we will meet at the Chevron station at NW 43rd St. and Millhopper at 8:30am for an 8:45am departure. Expect a distance of about 40 miles at 16-17 mph. The late start time is due to the Florida-Kentucky football game that is scheduled to be broadcast at 7:45pm on ESPN2 next Saturday, probably ending at about 11pm.

The following two weeks we will probably meet at, respectively, Flemington for a ride through the horse farm country of Marion County (the bottom half of the Horse Farm Hundred route), and Traxler (exit 404 of I-75) for a ride through the northern half of the Santa Fe Century route. In October the meeting times switch to 9am.
