A reminder that next Saturday, the 23^rd, there will be a cleanup for the new asphalt trails in Columbia County. See the GCC e-mails about the cleanup. These are potentially nice new trails, but sand and glass on some sections makes them much less attractive.

 

On Sunday, Sept. 24^th, we will meet at the Chevron station at NW 43^rd St. and Millhopper at 8:30am for an 8:45am departure. Expect a distance of about 40 miles at 16-17 mph. The late start time is due to the Florida-Kentucky football game that is scheduled to be broadcast at 7:45pm on ESPN2 next Saturday, probably ending at about 11pm.

 

The following two weeks we will probably meet at, respectively, Flemington for a ride through the horse farm country of Marion County (the bottom half of the Horse Farm Hundred route), and Traxler (exit 404 of I-75) for a ride through the northern half of the Santa Fe Century route. In October the meeting times switch to 9am.
