They won't check because they are just as busy talking on their cell phones.

Manslaughter should be the minimum when you kill another due to neglect....and not keeping a straight line because of a "distraction" is neglect to your responsibility as a driver, to drive safely.

I'm with Phil on this one and the others on this one....if it was a person in a vehicle, they'd be charged with something with more teeth....The question is, what can we, as cyclist, do to change how law enforcement and prosecutors handle these cases? 

Didn't the truck driver that ran over the little girl 13th and 8th a few years, while turning right on red, only get a reckless driving citation?
