Petzl Tikka headlamp
This product does not meet your requirement for 100 lumens
(only
60) but it is sold for night biking and is very useful and convenient
otherwise.
I know for myself it is difficult to keep all those special
purpose light charged and working. This offers a simple, inexpensive
option.

recommendations
This light will meet the suggested requirement and is
a
simple design with convenient features.
If anyone knows of something with the same or
greater output for cheaper, please let me know.
As Barb has pointed out though, you should spend as
much
as you are willing, to get as much light as possible. You can never have
too
much light.
And get a bright rear blinkie to go with
it.

Done many hours of night time riding on the brevet
rides.
The cost of bike lights is way less then you would pay for your
insurance, dr
bills etc my recommendation would be the DiNotte Lighting System be seen
and
be safe.
