To All HighBees:

I posted a ride for Sunday and asked if anyone was planning to do the ride, since it was not the usual Saturday ride, to please e-mail me back to let me know. So far I haven’t heard from anyone. If you are planning to ride please let me know. I will send out a follow up e-mail letting the group know if the ride is on for Sunday based on whether there are any replies. The ride details are below:

Day: Sunday, April 27^th   

Time: 8:00am meeting, 8:15 departure

Meeting Place: LeStore, on the corner of Williston Rd and SW 34^th Street, just east of I-75 exit

Route and Mileage: We will ride a modified version of the Dungarvin ride, going out Williston Rd to CR 320 and then across to McIntosh turning north there on CR 225 through Evinston and left on CR 346 to Micanopy, then returning to Gainesville via Wacahoota Rd to Williston Rd. Basically the Dungarvin ride but without taking Dungarvin to Orange Lake and instead taking CR 320 to McIntosh. Approximately 45 miles

Speed: HighBee rides are typically16-17 MPH average; faster at times and slower on climbs. This is a no drop ride; we re-group at all turns. When there is a large turnout, if there is a group that wishes to go faster than the typical HighBee pace, please mention that at the beginning of the ride and feel free to break off from the main group at any point as opposed to changing the ride pace to suit the faster riders. This should accommodate the needs of all riders that have been riding with the HighBees.
