GCC Mtn Bikers:
If anyone plans on meeting at Bike Works for the 6pm dirt road ride tomorrow, please let me know before 1pm tomorrow- if there is no interest, I will cancel the ride and go out earlier on my road bike. GCC Mtn Bikers:
There will be a dirt road/road ride for mtn bikers on Tuesday leaving from Bike Works at 6pm - this ride will be approximately 25-30 miles at a moderate pace. You will need good helmet or bar lights and rear blinkies for safety as it will be dark. This is a no drop ride, we will regroup at the turns. The route includes dirt roads and recently roughly paved county roads with some riding on Newberry Rd and 27/41 north of Newberry. If you have a cross bike, you should ride the cross bike dirt road rides posted to the listserv as this ride pace will be a bit slower for those on mtn bikes. Be sure to rsvp if you plan on riding - I am considering posting a mtn bike ride at Santos (Ocala) for Saturday or Sunday morning based on interest - if you are interested, please send me an email (not the listserv) early this week.
