If anyone is interested I would like to lead a ride out of the Hawthorne terminus of the Rail-Trail this Sunday (4/19). We meet at 8:45 and leave at 9:00 am. The ride will be about 50 miles at modified HighBee/HB plus pace 17-18 mph, although we could be flexible depending on who shows. We’ll go west on the trail and out 325 to follow the “Ride to Remember” route (Dungarvin Rd etc.), returning from Flemington directly on 329 & Angle Rd back to Hawthorne on the Trail. There are some nice alternative rides on the eastern end of Alachua and adjoining counties and I would love to start a High Bee + East group for a change of pace if there’s any interest.

If you plan to come please email me back.

Thanks,

Jorge Milanes

Subject: GCCMail: HighBee Ride/ Saturday, April 18th

To All HighBees,

I won’t be able to ride this Saturday; so if there is someone that would like to lead the ride this Saturday, please let me know. If you want to do a specific ride feel free to post it or if you just want to let me know what ride you want to do, I can post it. If you just want to start at the Chevron and make up a ride when everyone gets there that is fine as well. The following week, I plan to post a ride starting from the fruit stand in Traxler and going north into Columbia County.

Thanks,

Mike
