Hello Everyone Part II:

This is a great event, and I really enjoy doing them.  This route should also be a good one, with varied terrain.

What I would request is that this is an actual GCC sponsored event, and Jim Wilson puts a huge amount of effort into putting this on.  As such you will also be covered by the GCC insurance.

So PLEASE do not plan on riding this event as a bandit.  I know that you all can afford the $20 entry fee, and I think Jim has also waived the requirement that you be RUSA (www.rusa.org) registered.  As someone that has put on large bike events; the amount of work that takes place before an event is amazing, and Jim and Meaghan Wilson do a fantistic job.

So please do come out but yes you should pay the $20.00

Sincerely,

Wascally Wabbit

AKA Doug

Subject: GCCMail: Gauge of Interest - A Riders 200K Brevet participation

Hello everyone,

If any of the A rider types are interested in participating in this coming weekend's GCC 200Km brevet, please contact me directly.  If there is enough interest, we can focus on riding a nice overall time.

Regards,

J. L. O'Mahoney
