On Saturday July 18 Strays will ride about 30
miles from Fanning Springs State Park. We will head to Chiefland
and then to the bridge over the Suwanee, and may also go in to Old
Town.
Arrive at the Fanning Springs State
Park at 8:15 am to depart at 8:25
am. This will get our ride finished well before the sharks
converge for the feeding frenzy on the feast.
Speed 2.5 - 46 mph, depending on terrain.
Average speed has typically been 11 - 14
mph
in recent times . This ride is entirely
flat.
There will be a
convenience store / rest room stop at the mid point in the ride. If
necessary we can make another stop. NO pace lines, NO racing,
NO wheel sucking, just a fun social
ride.
Helmets are REQUIRED on all
Strays rides, mirrors recommended, headphones and music
machines FORBIDDEN.
Safety protocols are always observed
on Strays rides
