I am interested in spearheading a project to fill the dangerous vertical cracks on CR234 southbound.  This idea originally came to mind regarding the Hipp Ride, but then I realized that it pertains to all Gainesville area riders - all groups and all levels - especially group rides.

I figure with just ten people, we can knock it out in just an hour or two - not including the preparation of the asphalt filler of which I am unaware.

Please respond directly to me if you are interested in helping.  Please let me know what time would be best, and what times you can _make_ yourself available.  We have more and more daylight now, and this project can also wait until after DST expires.

Further, after a quick google, I cannot find asphalt filler for purchase in small batches.  If anyone knows where (and for how much $) we can purchase filler, please let me know.  If enough people pitch in (even if they cannot help), then it should not cost much money per person.
