Offroad Riders, If there is any interest, I will lead an offroad ride at the Gainesville Cycling Club's famous Chilly Chili Cookoff on Saturday, Jan. 30 at Oleno State Park. There are 13 miles of bike trails (from what I have found online) that are available to us to explore... although the trails are probably rather flat and sandy, this would be a good chance to ride some new trails. The food will be served around noon, so the ride would start around 9 or 10am and is open to all levels of riders. Please contact me if you are interested in riding these trails - if there is interest in such a ride, I will post a formal ride announcement. (no formal ride notice = no organized offroad ride). I hope everyone who braved the cold and rode the Tour de Felasco had a great time! I will not be posting any offroad rides this weekend, busted my rear derailleur hanger and rear derailleur at the tour (finished it on a loaner bike). My bike should be back in working order sometime next week. January 23 is the Suwannee Bicycle Association's Ididaride - see those of you who are registered, on ride day (registration is currently closed).
