GCC's Tandem Group joins the Florida Panthers Tandem Club this weekend for a remote-start ride in The Villages.

The Panthers are Florida's official statewide tandem cycling club and hosts of the annual Florida Tandem Rally.

We will be joining the group on their regularly-scheduled Panthers Saturday ride.

Ride in the morning, then check into a swank hotel, and party the night away before heading back to Gainesville? Sounds good to us!

Date:   Saturday 01/28/12 @ 0900

Ride location:   The Waterfront Inn, The Villages

Distance:   35 to 45 miles, we'll see

Speed:   tandem speed

We will drive down to The Villages early on Saturday morning, stay at The Waterfront Inn on Saturday night, and return to Gainesville on Sunday.

You do not need to be Panthers Tandem Club member to ride with the Panthers on Saturday, but it is expected that you will be riding a tandem.
