Dear Friends: On Saturday 10 September the EZ Riders and the Hokey Pokies will storm down the Nature Coast Trail in search of leaping sturgeon in the Suwanee River. We will leave the Trenton Trailhead at 8:30 AM EDT, and return their in time for lunch at the Suwanee Rose Cafe aka the Olde Quilte Shoppe, where the staff are very tolerant of sweaty cyclists. As always, the pace will be majestically slow, and we leave no one behind. The ride is suitable for families and children. Bring water, etc, but there is a convenience store along the route, and we can go on beyond the Suwanee River to Old Town, where there is another convenience store, with restrooms which are often clean. As usual, Chandler will be on hand to pump up tires and render minor mechanical aid. Find the Trailhead by going West on Newberry Road through Newberry, and on to Trenton, turning Right on North Main at the traffic light in Trenton. The old train depot will be on your Left in a couple of blocks. It will take us about 35 minutes from West Gainesville. Helmets are required on all GCC rides. Questions? Call (333.3184) or email. Cheers, George
