To all GCC and TVM members: Here are two good contacts with the Alachua County Public Works Department for anyone to contact whenever a situation arises on a county road that needs to be addressed to maintain safety. Walt Barry was good enough to secure this information: Yes, and we would appreciate the opportunity to serve. You may contact myself, or staff by email or phone. We will make sure issues like you describe are addressed quickly. Sincerely, Ron Kaylor Road Supt. Alachua County Public Works Dept. People have dealt with this kind of issue to great success. Can
whomever provide me with a contact at Public Works - if remembered -
because I would rather deal with someone who has helped us so much in the
past.
Thank you. mk From: DJTOMPKINS@xxxxxxx Date: Thu, 16 Feb 2012 14:08:37 -0500 Subject: Re: GCCMail: Asphalt Crack Filler Project - Angle Road To: mkeurope@xxxxxxxxxxx Mark,
I think you need to check with Alachua County public works before you
put
any material on county roads. They may do this work at the county cost
if
enough people request it. It is worth a call and tell them how
dangerous
it can be. Thanks
Darryl
