For those of you who are not on FB here is important information regarding an incredible natural treasure at Paynes Prairie. If you're on a bike I gotta figure you love the outdoors. We are incredibly blessed in Gainesville to be surrounded by fabulous springs, parks and large undeveloped tracts of land.

Take a look at the front page of the Gainesville Sun today and voice your objection to the removal of the bison from the PP. 9 animals have been "removed" by the contractor who lists two Bison Meat vendors as "Sanctuaries."

Anyone that opposes the bison removal is urged to call the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's help desk & register their complaint. The number is (850) 245-2118. Please also call Senator Steve Oelrich's office at (850) 487-5020 & register a complaint with his office as well. Please Call!!! If you have any doubts about how serious this is, ck out the Gville Sun front cover. The round up is starting. They're not gone yet and you can make a difference. Please let your voice be heard (no pun intendedThe old cattle pens at Hickory Farm are being reinforced to hold the bison.
