Due to predicted cold temperatures tomorrow morning Wednesday, January 4th, the Saddle Tramps will meet for Brunch at 10:00 a.m. at The Jones Eastside Restaurant at 401 N.E. 23rd Avenue, (352 373-6777).  (Check out their website for menu and prices:  TheJonesEastside.com)

After warming with food and drink, and based on real time temperatures, there is a possibility of a bike n' hike after brunch.  It would be a short ride to LaChua Trailhead on the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail (about 5 miles), where we would park our bikes (bring a bike lock if you have one), and possibly hike the three mile round trip to the Observation Tower on Paynes Prairie, and back again.  If you are riding in bike shoes, bring others for the hike.
