This week’s ride info:

 

Day: Saturday, October 12^th

 

Time: 9:00am meeting, 9:15 departure

 

Meeting Place: Kangaroo, on the corner of SW 34^th St and Williston Road. Parking is available in the Publix shopping center parking lot right next to Kangaroo.

 

Route and Mileage: We’ll ride a modified version of the Raleigh Archer Ride (going to neither Raleigh nor Archer on this ride) , but we’ll to out SR 121 to CR 3436A and around back to SR 121 and on to CR 320 taking that to Shiloh and turning north on CR 329 to Micanopy. We’ll stop in Micanopy, then return up 441 to Wacahoota Rd and back to SR 121 and back to the kangaroo. Should be about 40 miles.

 

Pace: The HighBees ride pace is about 16-17 MPH. This is a friendly, no drop ride; we re-group at all turns when needed and stop for any mechanical or other needs.

 

If you are new to GCC and are looking for a weekly ride with a moderate pace and moderate distance, please feel free to join us.
