I don't know if TF got my e-mail last week but I'll repeat it.
Skinny Phil and I worked out some basic rules last year that seemed to work well so everybody knows what to expect on the Tuesday/Thursday Hipp rides.
Tuesdays - Hard group rotation.  No attacks until 1 K from the usual sprint zones.  Regroup after each sprint.
This is when we work on close contact group skills without having to worry about being jacked when pushed to our limit.
Thursdays - no rules except safety first.  Sit on and sprint.  Attack whenever the mood dictates.
As always think hard about how your action affects others around you -especially behind you.
Get out of the way BEFORE you start slowing down.  Announce LOUDLY and point animatedly any road hazzards you see.
New or inexperienced riders.  Please sit on and surf the back until you figure things out.  If someone yells at you it's not personal.  You just scared the (bleep) out of them.  Always look back before you pull out to sprint or move up.  Assume there is always a car trying to pass you.  Assume they don't give a rat's _ss whether or not you win that sprint.  There is no prize list.  This is just a training ride.
