On
Sunday Sept 21, Strays will
ride about
33 miles in the Flemington, McIntosh
area.
This is the
'Mommy'*
ride encompassing as many hills as
that area has to offer in 33 miles. In addition to being a real workout,
this is also a very scenic ride. This is good pre-ride training
for anyone planning to ride the Horsefarm, Horrible or 3
Gap. Its some of the pretty Horsefarm country that you won't get to see on
the Horsefarm.

There will be an
option at the end of the
ride, for anyone so inclined, to do a couple of extra sets of
Dungarvin Road before we head out to the restaurant.

Arrive at the park in Flemington at 9 am to
depart at 9:15.
Speed 2.5 - 46 mph, depending
on terrain.
Average speed has typically been
12 -
14 mph in recent times. This ride is quite hilly, so our
average will most likely be 12 mph or below.

There will be at
least one convenience store / rest room stop during the ride, and
possibly an additional should it be needed.

Post ride the hungry will head to a local
restaurant, probably
Rocky's Villa.
Decent Italian - Mexican cuisine at a reasonable price. Rocky's is on 441
about a half mile north of 318.
No pace lines, no racing, no wheel sucking, just a fun social
ride.
Helmets are REQUIRED on all
Strays rides,
mirrors recommended, headphones
forbidden.
Safety protocols are always observed
on Strays rides
