Hi everyone,

This was a race myself and another local competed (survived) in recently. It was touted as America's hardest cyclocross race, but there weren't any barriers, no cowbells and no riding laps. Rather, 47 miles in the mountains near Banner Elk, NC with 7900 feet of climbing. Mountain bikes and a pair of hiking boots would have been more appropriate.
