If anyone needs a ride to Camp Blanding for the Hammerhead Triathlon and is interested in sleeping on base the night before, let me know. I may have room for one more bike and person.

You would need to pay for your own room, or bring a sleeping bag (there is no carpet). The good news is that you wouldn't have to drive an hour before the race.

Warning: If you plan on staying on base the night before, check with the Hammerhead people before driving up there - I can get anyone on my vehicle in because my wife is in the military.

2nd warning: If you plan to have family and friends attend the race they must be on the official list of visitors at the gate. People signed up for the race and anyone on their vehicle will have no problems, but be sure to contact the Hammerhead people if you expect anyone else to show up. Oh, and make sure everyone has their IDs.

The swim is really nice. On the bike, it was windy when I rode the course.
